Samuel Eto’o named Andre Onana as the best goalkeeper in the world ahead of rival Mike Maignan.
Samuel Eto’o reunited with his former team mates of the iconic 2009/2010 tremble winning season during Inter Milan’s 2-0 win over AC Milan last Wednesday.
The Cameroon Football Federation President was asked to choose between AC Milan Goalkeeper Maignan and Andre Onana, he didn’t hesitate in choosing his Fundenspor Academy graduate.
“Andre Onana…. For me, he is stronger than Maignan. He’s the best goalkeeper in the world. André was not very convinced to come to Inter, I advised him to say YES and today I am happy that he did it , ”said Eto’o.
Andre Onana’s stats in the Champions League this season might help back up Samuel Eto’o’s claim.
The Cameroonian has seven clean sheets in the Champions League this season and also 43 saves, making him the goalkeeper with most clean sheets and saves this season in the Champions League
